9.30 am - 4.00 pm Monday - Saturday
9.00 am - 1.00pm Sundays
Hot Food available until 3.00 pm daily.
Please note that due to our remote location we are card only.
Dogs and their well behaved owners welcome (inside on a lead please) - all dogs get a doggy treat or if they’re really good you can treat them to a Salcombe Doggie Ice Cream
We are a community cafe whose mission is to provide meaningful employment opportunities for adults with additional needs, supported by volunteers.

Our Story
Our Pavilion, dedicated to the memory of Frank Verwey, the inspiration for this community project, opened its doors in October 2020. Currently 25 adults with additional needs are supported to work by 20 volunteers, a full time manager and a baker.
We converted a dilapidated building during COVID - a real labour of love for a another dedicated team of volunteers.
Since we opened, we have expanded our menu , but remain focused upon providing a service centred on our workers’ needs.

Food Standards Agency visits have awarded us the top food hygiene rating.
